1. Always depart with a 100% full battery (and do it smartly)
The golden rule for any EV holiday: start your journey with a fully charged battery. This allows you to cover the first few hundred kilometers without having to search for a busy highway charger right away.
2. Plan your stops around your own rhythm (not the other way around)
Nobody drives all the way to the South of France or Austria in one go. You will inevitably stop for a restroom break, lunch, or a cup of coffee. Simply align your charging stops with those moments.

5. Choose ‘Destination charging’
When booking your hotel, B&B, or campsite, check if they offer charging stations. This is known as destination charging. While you are fast asleep or relaxing by the pool, your car slowly charges in the parking lot. This way, you don’t waste precious holiday time at a highway fast charger during the day.
